Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is entering the chat after learning his oldest daughter has been getting death threats.
Johnson is a father to three girls. He shares his two youngest daughters with his current wife Lauren and his oldest daughter, Simone, with his first wife.
Simone, who is now 22 years old, followed in her father’s footsteps becoming a WWE wrestler known as Ava Raine.
Sadly, Simone has found herself in the crosshairs of hundreds of keyboard warriors. Before deleting her X account, Simone hit back at the hate she was enduring.
"Can ya’ll just leave me out of this ffs," she tweeted. "I’m busy running a SHOW."
"Death threats over a situation i have nothing to do with … bffr," she added in another tweet.
The discourse and vitriol started after The Rock returned to WrestleMania, seemingly taking precedent over Cody Rhodes, who recently won the Royal Rumble. Many WWE fans assumed Rhodes would face current WWE Champ Roman Reigns, only for anger to ensue when The Rock appeared on Friday Night SmackDown.
The Rock addressed it while a guest on The Pat McAfee Show.
"It's crazy," he told the hosts. “By the way, what happens in the middle of the ring and on these storylines, don't forget that — again, inside baseball — outside the ring, we all talk. We all figure this thing out while working together."
Simone has since turned the comments off on her Instagram as well.
It’s unclear how the father-daughter duo will attempt to handle the discourse even though Simone doesn’t have much to do about it, as she mentioned on X.
Despite following in her father’s footsteps, Simone is keen on not often associating herself with The Rock, especially in the world of WWE, which as you can see is comprised of many diehard fans.
