Hilary Duff Receives Hilarious NSFW Birthday Card From 4-Year-Old Daughter – Who Obviously Can’t Read Yet

Sometimes, it’s not so much what a kid says, but what a kid does that makes us laugh hysterically. That was certainly the case for Hilary Duff, who celebrated her 36th birthday on Thursday (September 28). Her husband, Matthew Koma, took to Instagram to share a funny story about their 4-year-old daughter.

Banks Violet Bair – who was born on Oct. 25, 2018 – wanted to honor her mother on her big day, so she picked out a birthday card for her (with the help of her father, of course). It’s a good thing Matthew has a sense of humor and went along with his daughter’s selection because the card she picked was… NSFW.

The card had a picture of a birthday cake on the front, which is likely what caught Banks’ attention because the bright red icing on the cake read: “Happy Birthday Dickhead.” Matthew shared a photo of the card on his Instagram Story. “Banks picked this out by herself for [Hilary]. She can’t read yet,” he wrote.

Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma share two daughters together – Banks Violet Bair, who’ll be turning five years old in October, and Mae James Bair, who turned two years old on March 24th. The proud mother also has an 11-year-old son, Luca Cruz Comrie, who she shares with her ex-husband Mike Comrie

Her birthday laugh came just a few days after she took to Instagram to celebrate National Daughters Day – which fell on Monday (September 25). She posted a video of her two adorable daughters dancing and doing handstands in their room with the song ‘I’ll Be There’ by the Jackson 5 playing in the background.

“Happy daughters day to my dream girls! All I can say is thank you! Everyday is an insane adventure with you two! Keep loving each other my beauties ..it is a great pleasure and a privilege to watch,” Duff wrote in the caption. She has always spoken highly of her daughters and absolutely loves her role as a mother.

Last month, she posted a series of photos and a video of her eldest daughter, Banks, refusing to eat her breakfast. Hilary made eggs and broccoli (mixed together) with sausage and raspberries on the side. Even though her daughter likes eggs and broccoli, she didn’t seem too pleased with them mixed together.

Hilary Duff Shares Her Morning Routine and Wellness Habits

In August, Hilary Duff sat down for an interview with Bustle, where she talked about her morning routine, wellness routine, and what she likes to do when it’s time to relax and unwind. Considering she has three children, it comes as no surprise to know she wakes up between 6:15 and 6:30 a.m. to start her day.

She and her husband make breakfast together and make sure their children get their day started the right away – she also takes pride in her lunch-packing abilities. While her son is fairly easy to get dressed, she admits her daughters make it a little difficult – especially since Banks usually wants to wear makeup.

As for her exercise routine, she does a workout inspired by Tracy Anderson – which combines yoga, Pilates, dance, and cardio in a heated room. She also loves playing tennis and going on hikes, but only likes to lift weights when she feels motivated to. Either way, her playlist contains a little bit of everything.

When it’s time to unwind, Hilary Duff enjoys a good venting session with someone she trusts. She also takes a lot of baths, reads a book, scrolls on her phone, and has a glass of wine. Some of her best wellness tips are to stay hydrated throughout the day, get enough sleep, and do what works for you.
