Finally, on September 6, Joe Jonas made a personal statement regarding his divorce from Sophie Turner. On Instagram, Joe addressed the speculation surrounding the reason for their split and more.
“Statement from the two of us: ‘After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.'”
UPDATE 9/5/2023: Documents obtained by People has revealed that Joe Jonas has officially filed for divorce from his wife of 4 years actress Sophie Turner.
According to the documents, Jonas explained the reason for the divorce as "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken." Joe and Sophie share two children together, 3-year-old Willa and 14-month-old, whose name was listed on the papers as "D."
The estranged couple has a prenup in place.
UPDATE 9/4/2023: After rumors ran wild over the weekend about Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's alleged impending divorce, Joe surprised several eagle-eyed fans during the Texas stop of their latest tour.
Although Sophie again wasn't with the other Jo-Bro wives, it was what Joe was wearing that had people wondering if the divorce rumors were bogus. Rumors began to swirl when both Joe and Sophie were seen not wearing their wedding rings for quite some time.
However, last night, during their September 3 show, Joe Jonas was on stage, holding his microphone, with his wedding ring on his finger.

There appears to be some turmoil inside the Jonas-Turner household as of late and it could be resulting in a divorce soon. According to TMZ, Joe Jonas is seeking to consult with and perhaps team up with a divorce lawyer in Los Angeles as he appears to be on the cusp of filing for divorce from Sophie Turner.

Unfortunately, things aren’t fine between the two and the couple have encountered ‘serious problems’ (according to TMZ’s sources) for the past six months.

That tour began on August 12 inside Yankees Stadium and Sophie Turner was in attendance for opening night – she was seen dancing in the crowd, as if everything was good between the two. It might’ve been at that moment, but things have gone sour ever since and it’s likely they’ve been running hot and cold.
While Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have yet to discuss their marital problems publicly, it’s important to note that Joe has been seen without his wedding ring in recent weeks. It’s also important to note that the couple recently sold their mansion in Miami for $15 Million – they purchased the home just one year ago.

They secretly got married in May 2019 in Las Vegas, of all places, but held a more intimate wedding in Sarrains, France the following month.
