Ozzy Osbourne Fumes on Twitter After Kanye West Used His Song Without His Permission

Ozzy Osbourne is speaking out after Kanye West went against his wishes.

In a post shared on X, Ozzy revealed he was contacted by Kanye who asked for permission to use a sample from Black Sabbath’s song War Pigs. West wanted to use the sample for his new song Talking/Once Again.

In the scathing statement that is written in all capital letters, Ozzy revealed he denied Kanye’s request to use the sample but that rapper used it anyway.

“@KAYNEWEST ASKED PERMISSION TO SAMPLE A [SECTION] OF A 1983 LIVE PERFORMANCE OF ‘WAR PIG’ FROM THE US FESTIVAL WITHOUT VOCALS,” Ozzy wrote.

“[I] REFUSED PERMISSION BECAUSE HE IS AN ANTISEMITE AND HAS CAUSED UNTOLD HEARTACHE TO MANY. HE WENT AHEAD AND USED THE SAMPLE ANYWAY AT HIS ALBUM LISTENING PARTY LAST NIGHT.”

Ozzy concluded, “I WANT NO ASSOCIATION WITH THIS MAN!”

The new discourse between Ozzy and Kanye comes after Kanye has been openly antisemitic for years now. Kanye even issued an apology to the Jewish community in December but continued to spread hate and vitriol throughout his recent live shows and on his new album.

As TMZ reports, the day after Christmas, West took to social media to release an apology, written in Hebrew, to the Jewish community.

According to reports the statement reads, "I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused."

The statement continued, "I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity."

According to TMZ, the apology comes after a photo went viral on X. The photo depicts a cluster of missiles, one missile in particular had a message written on it.

The message read, “Kanye West Flying to Gaza Haim Gozali.” Haim is an Israeli MMA fighter who shared the picture on X.

Haim further captioned the photo, tagging Kanye, adding “You don’t like us Jewish. So, we don’t like you too.”

This latest development comes after Kanye West has made several public comments about his dislike for the Jewish community. And has continued to use his platform and music to perpetuate antisemitic troupes.

Now, due to how the apology is written people are speculating whether or not Kanye wrote the apology himself or if it was his camp who did it for him. What do you think?
