Kim Zolciak Isn’t Giving Up on Her Marriage to Kroy Biermann, Even Though He Filed for Divorce Twice and Wants to Sell Their Home

The tension between Kim Zolciak and her husband, Kroy Biermann, has been real over the past few months, but you wouldn’t know it talking to her. Despite multiple divorce filings, the cops being called in May, and Kroy trying to sell their family home, Kim is adamant that their marriage isn’t in shambles.

On Friday (September 8), Zolciak took to her Instagram Story to post a picture of her closet inside the family home – which was full of shoes.”I’m living here not going anywhere! Been working on our marriage and have been living as husband and wife. The lies daily are too much,” she wrote in a text overlay.

The post comes just one week after Kroy reportedly requested an emergency hearing to give him permission to sell their $3 million mansion in Alpharetta, Georgia. In the court documents, he explained some of the turmoil they’ve encountered in regard to debt, missed mortgage payments, and much more.

The court documents revealed that the couple has incurred a ‘significant’ amount of debt as a result of Kim Zolciak’s shopping and gambling habits. Their financial problems have resulted in difficulty paying the mortgage on their $3 million Georgia mansion and have recently faced foreclosure on multiple occasions.

They first faced foreclosure in February 2023 and the home was even scheduled for auction in early March, but the couple was able to avoid losing their home after reaching an agreement with Truist Bank. It put the couple on ‘foreclosure probation’ and demanded they make on-time payments for three months.

Unfortunately, Kroy Biermann revealed that they, once again, were unable to pay the mortgage in July and are, once again, facing foreclosure. Adding to their list of marital problems, the cops were called to the home in May after a series of heated exchanges between the two – no arrests were made at the time.

It was in May that both Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage. They then entered a custody battle, which only made things worse until they decided to dismiss their divorce filings. Just one month later, Biermann changed his mind and decided to file for yet another divorce.

Kim Zolciak Selling Personal Items, But Not to Help With Debt

Over the past few months, Kroy Biermann has made light of his wife’s misuse of their money and has blamed her for putting them in the position they’re in. According to recent court documents, Kroy has been selling several personal items – including designer backpacks – to help make mortgage payments.

While he has asked Kim Zolciak to do the same with some of her personal items to help make payments, she has refused. In fact, Kroy claims that Kim – along with their daughter, Brielle Biermann – has been selling purses, wigs, and other items, but not in an effort to help with the mortgage, debt, or other bills.

Among the debt they’ve incurred as a couple include more than $1.1 million in missed tax payments for the home in 2013, 2017, and 2018. They’re also in the middle of several lawsuits for not paying off bills for BMW, Target, American Express, Saks/Capital One, Sky Warrior, and more. The debt continues to rise.
