UPDATE: The family of soon-to-be mom Savanah Nicole Soto has shared a devastating update.
As CBS News confirms, both Soto, who was due to give birth any day, and her boyfriend have both been found dead. The family member who reported the deaths said the couple was found dead inside their car.
San Antonio Police Chief Bill McManus told CBS News that “the department was dealing with a ‘very, very perplexing crime scene.'” And although their causes of death have not yet been reported, police are “looking into the possibility of homicide.”
A Texas family is looking for their teenage daughter.
According to reports, 18-year-old Savanah Nicole Soto is 9 months pregnant and was last seen in her apartment. Soto was just hours away from going to the hospital to be induced.
Now, her mother Gloria Cordova is looking for her.
Cordova grew concerned for her daughter when she never arrived at the hospital. “I went by [their apartment] and knocked and knocked and knocked and she wasn’t answering. We got to the hospital. They said she wasn’t there,” Cordova told KHOU11.
A CLEAR Alert has since been issued for Soto on Christmas Morning. It’s believed Soto may be in danger.
Soto’s boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, whom she lived with, also cannot be found.
Cordova said her daughter was so excited to become a mom. “Savanah was so, so happy because she was going to be a mommy. It breaks my heart.”
A Facebook post made by Soto’s sister-in-law accused Guerra of abuse, The New York Post. “I won’t allow you to be one of those statistics of what happens when u have an abusive boyfriend,” the post read.
“I won’t allow this to be your story. this isn’t where this ends. your baby is supposed to be ur beginning mama. your realization to leave for the safety of you and your baby boy. come home vanah just find your way home,” the post continued.
At this time, Soto would be a week past due.
