New Video Shows Sandra Bullock Exchanging Vows With Bryan Randall in 2017 – Prior to His ALS Diagnosis and Eventual Death Last Month

Sandra Bullock and Bryan Randall didn’t keep their love for one another a secret, but they certainly kept it as private as possible since they first struck a romance in 2015. And while they never married in their eight years together, a new video obtained by The Daily Mail shows they did the next best thing.

In December 2017, Sandra and Bryan took to the Bahamas for a special ceremony that included a lot of dancing and one very special moment where the couple exchanged vows. There was no officiant and it wasn’t legally binding, but it didn’t have to be as Bullock confessed her commitment to the love of her life.

According to the outlet, they enjoyed a ‘14-day trip to Arpaud Busson's Three Bees Villa on Harbor Island’ to celebrate Bryan’s birthday – which was on December 31. It came just three years before he was diagnosed with ALS – the 57-year-old succumbed to the disease on August 5 after a very private battle.

As his disease worsened, many fans – unaware of the diagnosis – started to speculate that the couple had broken up because they appeared to be living separately. In reality, he was staying at one of Bullock’s Malibu properties because he wanted to be near the beach as his life slowly, but surely, came to an end.

“It was quite convenient for them to have these rumors that they'd broken up because it helped conceal what was really going on. It was easier to let people assume they hadn't seen him because they were no longer together,” one source told The Daily Mail – adding Sandra was by his side every step of the way.

His death capped an eight-year relationship that began in January 2015, when she hired Randall as a photographer for her son’s 5th birthday party. They started dating shortly after, but didn’t make their first appearance as a couple until August 2015 at Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s wedding in Bel Air.

They were then spotted at a dinner date at Craig’s Restaurant in West Hollywood later that month, but Sandra Bullock wasn’t ready to gush over her new love. "Who says I have a new boyfriend?" Bullock said when asked about Randall in a red carpet interview with ET. "Everything in my life is great right now."

Sandra Bullock Finally Opens Up About Randall in 2018

It took Sandra Bullock three years before she finally gushed over her relationship with Bryan Randall – publicly, at least. In an interview with InStyle in May 2018, she called Bryan ‘super kind’ and praised him for the bond he had with her two children – adding that he’s more the fun type and has ‘better treats.’

In June 2018, Randall was seen helping Bullock out of her car as she arrived at a red carpet event – he wasn’t on the red carpet, but they held hands upon her arrival before going their separate ways. It took another three years before she opened up about the relationship again – during a Red Table Talk.

"I found the love of my life. We share two beautiful children, three children -- his older daughter. Best thing ever,” she said in the 2021 interview – adding that she doesn’t ‘need a paper to be a devoted partner, a devoted mother.’ Her two children were adopted in 2010 and 2015 – Randall also has an older daughter.
