Thomas Rhett Leads Concert Attendees in Prayer After Learning of Fans Medical Emergency During Show

Thomas Rhett is a man of the people. This was evident at a concert on Saturday (Sept. 30) – which took place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. He had performed at the arena the night before and was in the midst of delivering another rock-solid performance in what was the final show of his Home Team Tour 23.

The concert was going great, but things took a turn for the worse when one of his fans suffered a medical emergency in the crowd – while he was performing the song ‘Craving You.’ He recognized the emergency and immediately turned his attention to the well-being of the fan and his surrounding friends and family.

In fact, the 33-year-old country music singer took the time to learn the fan’s name – it was Terry – and lead his concert in prayer alongside the fan’s family and friends. He walked over and sat down on the side of the stage, where Terry’s group was standing, and prayed for everything to be okay with their loved one.

"God, we just ask for your healing over Terry. We know you are the ultimate physician. We know that you are the ultimate healer," Rhett said. "Pray for Terry's family right now, who [are] very scared. For Terry, who is very scared. God, we know that you are a miracle worker and we pray over Terry and his family.”

“Amen,” the crowd yelled back to Thomas Rhett when he finished the prayer. Rhett can be seen talking to someone by the side of the stage while the crowd applauded his kind gesture, but eventually went back to performing as he finished his set – which was a full set that included roughly 20 popular songs of his.

Thomas Rhett Ends His Tour With Class

It was the end of his Home Team Tour 23, but he does have one more major concert scheduled for later this year – the Country Bay Music Festival on November 11. It’s supposed to be a great night for country music and he’s set to be joined by Sam Hunt, Chris Young, Lainey Wilson, Lee Brice, and much more.

While we won’t see much of Thomas Rhett in the near future, he left fans with a new greatest hits album on Friday (September 29) – titled 20 Number Ones. The collection is a celebration of him earning his 20th No. 1 hit in November 2022 with his single ‘Half of Me’ featuring Riley Green – quite the accomplishment.
