For the second time this season, former NFL star and current commentator Tony Romo made the same mistake.
While covering the Kansas City Chiefs, Romo is one NFL commentator who hasn’t shied away from mentioning Taylor Swift’s name several times throughout the broadcast.
However, the last two times he covered Chiefs games, Romo made a mistake while addressing Swift live on air.
As it has been reported thousands of times, Kelce started dating Taylor Swift shortly before the 2023-24 NFL season began. However, at two different times now, Romo has called Swift Kelce’s wife.
Romo’s slip of the tongue on Christmas Day came after Kelce made his 900th career catch and the cameras caught Swift cheering for his man.
After accidentally referring to Swift as Kelce’s wife, his co-commentator Jim Nantz chuckled saying, "You've been down that road with that before."

And now that this was the second time Romo made the mistake, fans of the romance are wondering if Tony knows more than the public does.Â
